Advice on foreign training in the healthcare sector

  • – You have completed your medical training abroad and would like to work as a doctor in Lower Saxony.
  • – You already have a job commitment from an employer based in Lower Saxony (e.g. a hospital).
  • – You know that you need a professional license or the Approbation to be allowed to work here as a doctor / physician, but have not yet applied for this at the competent Instituti-on, the Lower Saxon Zweckverband zur Approbationserteilung (NiZzA).

The modular training is aimed at foreign doctors who aspire to work in a German hospital.

The need for well-trained doctors continues to grow. According to “Deutsche Gesundheitsnachrichten” Germany lacks 110000 doctors until the year 2030. Therefore, even for well-trained doctors with a foreign qualification very good opportunities for attractive positions in a German hospital. To work as a doctor in Germany, you also need sufficient language skills. The Medical Association of Lower Saxony in Hanover and Telc GmbH in Frankfurt conduct professional language examinations for foreign doctors. We will prepare you for these exams.

Our module contents are based on the current linguistic and communicative requirements in hospital operations. The modules build on each other and cannot be booked individually.
