Specialized language courses for doctors

Certified specialist language courses for doctors currently only in the virtual classroom via Zoom!

Preparation for the medical language exam at the medical associations and the Telc FSP – free participation* possible!

Services: 552 UE ,approx. 40 FSP simulations, 2x Saturday classes (optional) and 2 individual coaching sessions for each participant

High success rate

Quality means performance! For us, performance means that we take care of each participant very personally and individually. This gives everyone the best chance of passing the exam. Our team of instructors and the participants grow together during the course into a unit where everyone is there for the other. This is the secret of our success. Approximately 85-90% of our participants pass the exam at the first attempt. The prerequisite is, of course, diligence and commitment! And a little bit of luck is of course also part of it!

Individual care in the afternoon

You have a problem with your homework, preparing your paper, exam anxiety or other questions? Deutsch for Docs is there for you every afternoon!

Practice-oriented exam preparation

After approx. 40 exam simulations and at least 20 corrected doctor’s letters, you’ll have the hang of it! You know what to expect in the FSP! You will practice in a practice-oriented manner with trained simulation patients, tutors and physicians of the University Hospital Göttingen as well as lecturers for German for medical professionals.

Quality management

You want to know where you stand? You have a problem in the course, you feel you are not progressing properly? You have family problems/stresses and therefore cannot perform at full capacity? Then talk to our liaison teacher and quality manager Steffen Nikutta. He is available once a week for discussion and evaluation!

Individual coaching (FSP simulation)

You would like to practice the simulation exam not only in the classroom but also on your own? Deutsch for Docs offers each participant 2 individual coaching sessions, each with a case exam and evaluation.

You need assistance in finding a suitable job? We cooperate with friendly and reputable intermediaries who will be happy to help you free of charge!

Social activities

Would you like to have more intensive contact with your course colleagues – and have a bit of fun in addition to your lessons? Social activities – you can also have fun online to enjoy successful communication outside of class! Get together for our Zoom parties with Adriana Henriquez, our social supervisor. Do you live in Göttingen or the surrounding area? – Then let’s meet live in Göttingen for outdoor activities. Let us surprise you!

Duration of lessons: 12 weeks (starting in January, May and September) Lesson times: Mondays to Fridays: 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Support classes (optional) in the afternoon: mo - fr: 3:45 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Detailed information about our FSP - courses

Our 12-week intensive course in the virtual classroom offers solid preparation for the complex exam - the focus is on mastering a fluent collection of medical history, but also the detailed examination of the exam-relevant clinical pictures from the fields of internal medicine, surgery, neurology and orthopedics, laboratory and equipment diagnostics, differential diagnostic differentiation and the presentation of therapy options with the respective justification as well as patient education.
